This is an extremely late post, but look out! I'm a Licensed poet, and I can rhyme my way through life! Hah! I got second at my Poetry Out Loud competition. Unfortunately I cannot upload a file to Weebly, and there is no way I am posting the video on YouTube. Well, maybe just for you guys :) My two poems were: "Blind Curse" by Simon J. Ortiz, and "Life in a Love" by Robert Browning. So unfortunately I did not advance to the state competition, but I feel honored to be the runner up!

If you are wondering about some of the things I am doing in my free time, here are some of them! A Movie: Recently me and my close friend Dante have begun to write a short film that we have high hopes for! Though it will be low-budgeted, and I can not disclose much information, you viewers and movie goers should anticipate this film! You will most likely see it within the club as charity benefiting! Check out the first trailer out now! A Science Project:Wi-re we still using copper? Why aren't we searching harder for a new method of wiring. In my science fair project I will be testing the capabilities of dissociated solutions as a wiring method! I will post my results later! A Recital:So I attempted a poetry out loud competition in school for extra credit. Well I won second place! Now I am memorizing two more poems to recite at the county-wide competition! I never really liked poetry, but I have seriously attached myself to my poems. More than I ever thought I would! Wish me luck, and I will post my experience later! An Adventure:I am building a computer! Yup! You heard me! A few years ago my friend told me about this and I thought it was absurd! Well here I am now asking him for help on doing it! Honestly it has been a lot more fun than just buying a stock! It is also proving much more cost effective! At $500 I can build a $800 computer! The reason I call this an adventure is because I am becoming SO much more computer literate, and learning the fun way! I will post its details when I am finished!! A Robot:Michael you want to be in the medical field and you are wasting your time building PC's and Robots? Are you okay? Well no. For MESA I was supposed to co-lead the effective communications team this year. BUT THEY OMITTED EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATIONS!!! So now I am co-leading a robot build -_-! A Book (or two... actually four):Reading? Of course! I enjoy books I can really get into. So I am reading The Governor series from The Walking Dead (my favorite show). Those books are for pure entertainment. I am reading the third edition of The Leadership Challenge to boost my understanding of a true leader, and what they do. For school, I am reading The Things They Carried about a soldiers story (kinda) in Vietnam! All are stellar reads!
Hello everybody, we have been taking a break during the winter, but here's what we plan to accomplish when we get back! We are really going to focus for a while on trying to increase membership for our club and advocacy for the uneducated! We will be creating posters, announcements, et cetera! I hope everyone's Christmas was great, and I'll see you after break!
Here is our yearbook group photo, although we are missing 2 or 3 members, and one is taking the picture!!
