Thanks to my mom, we came to the conclusion that the fundraiser CAN be preformed at two election sites near us, so long as we do not sell anything in the voting room!
A.) Doughnuts
i. Dunkin Doughnuts - $7.99 a dozen [Too Expensive]
ii. Safeway?? - Possible discount [Did not find out]
iii. Krispy Kreme: 25-99 boxes = $3.75 a box [Decided most appropriate and useful. Many have experience with Krispy Kreme already]
B.) Coffe - HARD TO DO
i. Dunkin Doughnuts - unclear amount of coffee in a box. Comes with stirs, cups ETC. - $14.99 per 10 cups/10oz????
ii. Rent a coffee maker [from where?]
[AT THIS POINT WE ARE STILL CURRENTLY ATTEMPTING TO FIGURE COFFEE OUT]
C.) Visual
i. Jake Fedorczyk's mom will make us a poster via vista-print that can help draw in potential customers.
ii. Brochures or some type of informational cards to further provide information to those interested in the charity itself.
D.) ETC.
i. Counts as service learning hours
ii. 25% back from UNICEF for expenses... IMPORTANT!
iii. Need an accurate budget
iv. Will need a detailed report. Pictures help.
v. Need to figure out shifts/ who will be able to go. (November 4th)
Next meeting should be finalizing ideas for the election day sale!!
