Ideas
Simple Ideas:
-Tell Someone Else!
One of the most basic ways to get involved in raising awareness is simply to tell someone else. It could be anyone, a brother or sister, a friend, or even a stranger! Regardless, you are exposing yet another individual to this issue who may then go on to inspire another person! It's like replicating or multiplying, we call it passing it on.
-Make a Poster
Are you artistic but shy? Then this idea is perfect for you! All you need to do is make some type of poster and place it somewhere (somewhere reasonable) and let the world see both what a great artist you are, as well as influence them to take action against uneducated children themselves!
-Make a Flyer
Maybe you are not so artistic, but you still want to spread the word using your creativity. In this case you could make a flyer using your computer instead of a poster, and place it at a reasonable spot! Since flyers can be easily replicated, you could even hand them out to people at a safe, popular location!
Doable Ideas:
-Donate
Donating money is a very simple way of helping out our uneducated children, the reason it is listed as a Doable idea is because you must be weary of who you are donating to. Always check the reputations of the charity or foundation you are donating to before you send them money. A very safe organization to donate money to is UNICEF. If you are thinking about donating towards UNICEF, see if EAUC is currently participating in a UNICEF Fundraiser so you can donate through both EAUC and UNICEF. (See our Donate page supported by CrowdRise and UNICEF!) Remember, even a simple five dollars can make a large difference for one child!
Complex Ideas:
-Create A Club
Who ever said being committed was easy? If you really feel like getting involved, make an entirely new club! You could even name it after ours as a branch of us! Creating a new club can be tedious, but some friends can make the task much more realistic. Now you are combining several aspects of awareness into one, by involving others in a common issue, as well as passing it on further with a successful club.
